Last year we had all of out 2020 international trips posted on our website by the end of March. So you may be wondering where the 2020 trips are - and by the number of emails we're getting asking that question, you are not the only one. So here's the answer. While there are still a few trips we're waiting to get costs for or new trips that need a little more work on writing up the itinerary, they're basically ready to go.

One of the greatest joys of adventure travel is meeting like-minded women all over the globe. Within just a few minutes of meeting Sabina Sirco on Skype we were laughing and talking excitedly as if we were old friends. By the end of the chat, she had invited me to Bosnia to come hiking with her. This was no surprise to me- I had heard about Sabina from my colleagues and they described her as friendly, warm, and ambitious. They were right. Sabina has guided our Hiking the Via Dinarica trip and we talked about women in the outdoors, sustainable travel, and how your coworkers can become your family.
Having something to read while you travel is almost as important as having your suitcase! For every AGC trip, we recommend a few books to read that pertain to that trip, activity, or general area. We’ve seen a lot of change in our 20 years of adventure travel, and much of this change mirrors larger changes in our society. Compared to 1999, today there is an increased interest in exercise and healthy living and people staying healthier into older years. There is the ever-evolving push for women's equality, rapid technological innovation, and dramatically increased connectivity because of the internet. The world itself is changing, adventure travel is changing with it. Here are 20 things that have dramatically changed in the world of adventure travel over the last two decades.
